America One is an over-the-air television network in the United States. The network serves over 170 LPTV, Class A, Full Power, Cable and Satellite affiliate stations. At least 20 of the stations carry America One's complete 168-hour weekly transmission. It is the successor to Channel America.

America One airs a great deal of low-end and international sports broadcasts, reruns and syndicated programming, along with the syndicated First Business program. The program also carries a handful of live events, such as the annual New Year's Eve coverage of Atlanta's Peach Drop.

The network meets federal E/I requirements by airing Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures five days per week, with other shows rotated to fill the remaining half hour of the requirement.

Until January 2009, America One also offered a national nightly newscast from the Independent News Network, based in Davenport, Iowa. In a report in the Macon, Georgia Telegraph, it was announced that Independent News Network filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on December 31, 2008, and ended all news productions, including its national newscast, by January 9, 2009. ^[1]

America One holds the U.S. broadcast rights to the Canadian Football League, National Lacrosse League, Hawaii Winter Baseball (ironically, America One does not have a Hawaii affiliate), the USAR Hooters Pro Cup, and (on tape delay) the American Hockey League's all star game. America One syndicates many of these broadcasts to various regional sports networks in the US (usually, those which are not part of the Fox Sports Net family). America One also carries tape-delayed broadcasts of the English Premier League, specifically Bolton Wanderers and Everton F.C..

The network had previously held rights to the IRB Sevens until Versus acquired those rights prior to the 2007 season. The station also several ECHL games in 2005.

America One is the smallest commercial nationwide network in the United States to provide news and sports programming. America One had been offering its own live video stream through its Web site, but it has since been shut down indefinitely. At least two affiliates, WKFK-LP and WBQP-CA, stream limited America One programming live, mostly daytime and weekend programs. America One is one of the few networks that is not carried by either DirecTV nor the Dish Network, other than what is carried on regional sports networks or the few full-power stations in local markets.

America One is owned by the USFR Media Group, which also owns KTBU channel 55 in Houston, Texas. KTBU does not carry the full America One transmission nor does it use any of its branding; it is known as Houston's 55. America One itself does very little self-promotion of its branding or programs on air, and as such, many America One affiliates appear to be independent stations.
